About Loisaba Conservancy
Loisaba Conservancy safari guide
Loisaba Conservancy protects approximately 58,000 acres in northern Laikipia and is a major conservation landscape within the Ewaso ecosystem. Loisaba supports diverse wildlife and is now home to both black and white rhinos.
Rhino conservation and wildlife corridors
In early 2024, eastern black rhinos returned to Loisaba for the first time in more than 50 years, establishing a new breeding population inside a secure rhino sanctuary. The conservancy also plays an important role in connecting wildlife landscapes across Laikipia and northern Kenya.
How to include Loisaba
Euclea includes Loisaba as the final wildlife stage of the 6 Day Laikipia Conservancies Safari, after Lewa, Borana and Ol Pejeta. It suits honeymooners, photographers and conservation-focused travellers seeking a lower-density safari.
