About Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Nairobi Nursery

Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Nairobi Nursery

Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Nairobi Nursery—often called the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage—is located inside Nairobi National Park and provides specialist care for rescued orphan elephants and rhinos before their eventual reintegration into the wild.

Public visit

The current public visit runs from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon and requires advance confirmed booking. Visitors observe the midday milk feed and mud bath while Keepers explain the orphans’ stories and wider conservation work.

Access requires Nairobi National Park entry in addition to the Nursery donation, so Euclea confirms the timed visit before finalising the excursion.
