Seven days from Tsavo's red elephants to Amboseli
This 7 day Tsavo safari links three of southern Kenya's most important wildlife areas: Tsavo East National Park, Tsavo West National Park and Amboseli National Park. It is a private road safari for travellers who want large landscapes, elephants, volcanic scenery and a strong contrast between the Tsavo ecosystem and the Kilimanjaro backdrop of Amboseli.
The first two nights focus on Tsavo East, famous for elephants dusted red by the park's iron rich soils and for the open country around Aruba Dam. Two nights in Tsavo West introduce more broken volcanic landscapes, springs and denser vegetation. The final two nights in Amboseli bring wetlands, open plains and some of Kenya's most celebrated elephant viewing.
For current park information, use the official Kenya Wildlife Service guides for Tsavo East, Tsavo West and Amboseli.
Safari style and booking
The package is configured as a private mid range safari using a pop up roof 4x4. Current published adult rates are stored by date and party size. Adult only bookings with an exact active rate can proceed to DPO payment. Seven or more travellers remain quotation only where SafariBookings publishes Get Quote.
Children are accepted from age two and the source notes that children under four are free. Because the complete child pricing matrix is not published, bookings containing children require a quotation before payment.
